Ruby A. Huff Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Ruby A. Huff, 97, of Dellroy passed away Friday morning May 15, 2015 at Chapel Grove Inn in Heath, Ohio. A daughter of the late Fred A. and Mary Harper Smith, she was born February 26, 1918 in Riverton, West Virginia. She was a member of the Dellroy United Methodist Church. Ruby worked for 41 years in the law offices of William T. Allmon, Allmon & Benson, Allmon & Stoneman, and Kathleen Allmon Stoneman. She worked diligently at her job in the law office, where she met and helped many people throughout the years. Ruby leaves behind a host of friends and colleagues, including two daughter-in-laws, Georgette Huff of Carrollton and Kathleen Huff Cunningham of Aiken, South Carolina; three grandchildren, Deborah (James) Mansfied, Dr. Steven Ronald (Susan) Huff, Douglas Charles Huff; step-grandchildren, Rick Preston and Kirk Preston; seven great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; a sister, Juanita (Robert) Ray; and former daughter-in-law, Sondra Huff of Buckeye Lake. Along with her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Roy “Bud” Huff, in 1982; two sons, Richard N. Huff and Ronald Alan Huff; two granddaughters, Lisa Filiaggi and Anissa Huff; and brother, Harry G. Smith. Funeral services will be Thursday, May 21, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in Dodds Funeral Home of Carrollton with Rev. Kenneth Ogg officiating. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 10 a.m. until time of service in the fneral home. The family requests memorial donations be made in Ruby’s memory to the Dellroy United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 172, Dellroy, OH 44620.
