Phyllis Morsheiser Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Phyllis Morsheiser, 79, of Dellroy passed away early Tuesday morning November 24, 2015 in her home. A daughter of the late Howard and Ethel Rouse Taylor, she was born August 11, 1936 in Washington County, Ohio. Phyllis was a member of Morges Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Russ Morsheiser; two sons, Daniel Joseph (Julie) Morsheiser of Carrollton and Peter John Morsheiser of Carrollton; three daughters, Susan (Vern) Perry of Carrollton, Sally (Kurt) Linder of Louisville, Tina Shafer of Carrollton; eight grandchildren; three step grandchildren; one great grandchild; brother, Kenneth Taylor of Manchester, Ohio; and three sisters, Betty Alcorn of Green, Ohio, Donna Shane of Newcomerstown, Ohio, and Carolyn Sue Taylor of Massillon, Ohio. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister. Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday, November 30, 2015 at 10 a.m. in Morges Catholic Church with Fr. Anthony Batt officiating. Burial will follow in Morges Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. in Dodds Funeral Home of Carrollton. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Community Hospice, 1040 Trump Road NW, Carrollton, Ohio 44615.
