Jacquelene "Jackie" Jednaszewski Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Jacquelene “Jackie” Jednaszewski, 85, of Carrollton passed away Wednesday afternoon March 18, 2015 at the Carroll Golden Age Retreat in Carrollton. A daughter of the late Joseph J. Ross, Sr. and Iva Irene Westfall, she was born August 28, 1929 in Toronto, Ohio. Jackie was a graduate of Jefferson Union High School. She worked as a secretary for Canton City Schools then for St. Michael’s Church in Canton. She was a member of the National Association Education Office Professionals, the Education Office Professionals of Ohio, and Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Carrollton. She is survived by two sons, Terry Jednaszewski of Brevard, NC and T. Michael Jednaszewski of Stockbridge, GA; four daughters, Elaine M. Browning of Brandon, FL, Ginger A. Weber of Seffner, FL, Connie J. Gawlak of Greer, SC, and Janet M. Smith of Carrollton, OH; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and two great great grandchildren. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas B. Jednaszewski, whom she married September 2, 1947. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church with Fr. Anthony Batt officiating. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. in Dodds Funeral Home of Carrollton and from 10-11 a.m. Saturday in the church. The family requests the memorial donations be made in Jackie’s name to the Our Lady of Mercy Building Fund, P.O. Box 155, Carrollton, Ohio 44615.
